| New Castle, DE- 03/04/2009 - Barbara Hines, Nancy Froome, Nicholas Romano, co-owners of SSD Technology Partners of New Castle, have been chosen by the U.S. Small Business Administration as SBA’s 2009 Delaware Small Business Persons of the Year. The award is based on the company’s staying power, growth in employment and sales, financial performance, innovative services, response to adversity and contributions to the community. “We are honored to be selected as this year’s SBA Small Business Persons of the Year for Delaware,” said Barbara Hines, president of SSD Technology Partners. “Throughout our 26 years in business, we’ve known and relied upon SBA programs and services for our continued success. They are an invaluable resource which has enabled us to grow.” Founded as Software Services of Delaware, Inc., the company now does business as SSD Technology Partners, a name that encompasses the spirit of how the three principals conduct business.
